NP3’s very own Bhangra Bash was a huge success. Students danced and appreciated the culture by attending this event.
The event took place in the gym last Friday, Feb. 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with performances from our NP3 students and a UC Davis Punjabi dance crew, a beautiful henna booth and some delicious cultural food.
“The event was much more fun that I thought it would be since this is our first Bhangra Bash at NP3 in a while. I was nervous before the event but after the event, I noticed everyone was enjoying the night and having fun. Everyone was complimenting and took an interest in the punjabi culture and that is very important to our punjabi club because people are now aware and appreciative of our culture,” said club leader Tanu Notra, a junior.
“Our first time hosting an event was a not too easy process but it was definitely worth the hard work we put into this event and the outcome was amazing,” added Notra.
