NP3 High School’s second annual Craft and Community Fair is set for this Saturday, March 1, 2025.
The three-hour event is an opportunity to support local causes, learn about important social issues, and participate in interactive activities.
There will be booths in the gym, blacktop, and bus lanes. The gates are open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the entry fee is $3 per person or three canned goods.
“The purpose (of the event) was to create a space for seniors to bring in and engage with the Natomas community, showcasing what they have been working on all year,” said Heather Higgins, the teacher advisor of the Craft & Community Fair, the art teacher of NP3 High School, and the Senior Project Coordinator.
“Others are trying to raise funds to help support the organizations they have been supporting throughout the year,” added Higgins. “We wanted to have a place to showcase the student’s interests and activism in a fun way.”
Student leaders and a student planning team are organizing the event.
This year includes many more exciting partnerships and new showcases, such as the free helmet giveaway and fitting, the e-waste drop-off, a fashion show, and interactive awareness tables.
“People should look forward to the Craft & Community Fair because it’s more than just a typical market—it’s a fun, engaging, and meaningful way to connect with the community while supporting important causes,” said Higgins.
The Craft and Community Fair will be held at 3700 Del Paso Road Road in Sacramento. This event is open to the public.
