With seniors graduating on May 28, 2025 – The Pacific Times asked:
Looking back to freshman year, what’s one dream or goal you had, and how has it changed or stayed the same?
Jugaad Dhaliwal
“I didn’t know what I wanted to be. Now that I’m going to college I have some ideas now, but I still don’t really know what I want to be.”
Tayeb Rahman
“I hoped that I would get into a good university and become a good person with good morals.”
Alvin Ao
“One goal I had as a freshman was to join the robotics team. This goal has been the same since I stuck with it throughout high school.”
Serenity Vang
“One goal that I had freshman year was to say yes to more opportunities and it is definitely something I plan to carry with me as it has definitely provided me with all the opportunities I was able to obtain in high school, win or lose..”
Ronika Sidhu
“Freshman year I always knew I wanted to pursue STEM and now I am going into engineering. I wanted to go into CS, however, now I am going to Davis for mechanical engineering.”
Wishmah Faisal
“Freshman year, one of my biggest goals was to fit in. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out who I was and where I belonged. Now as a senior, that completely changed. I started wearing the hijab with confidence and my goal was to stay true to myself and represent my values with confidence.”
