The second annual Ballin’ for Change event will be held this Thursday, Feb.6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NP3 gymnasium.
This event consists of a basketball game grade levels and a fundraiser to raise money for victims of California wildfires.
The event was first held last year as a homecoming rematch between grade levels the grade levels. Most importantly is raised money for the victims affected by the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA.
Ballin’ for Change tickets are $3 presale and $5 at the door. Tickets will be sold all throughout this week during lunch.
This year there will be four teams playing two games in total. Games will consist of freshman vs. sophomores and juniors vs. seniors.
Currently, there are 20 sophomores who are signed up to play and fewer players signed up for the other three grade level teams.
A draft is set for Monday, Feb. 3 to select the sophomore players who will play on the team. During this time, they will also be announcing the rest of the teams.
