Health Policy & Issues is a new club available for students to join this term.
“…students should join the club if they are invested in healthcare policies and issues and the evaluation and interpretation of them,” according to Shreeya Anil, a junior and club vice president.
Health Policy & Issues will help club members discover up-to-date healthcare policies and issues.
“Our goal is to keep the local community informed of the effects from said healthcare policies through a website,” Anil claimed.
This website will be developed by club members and will include information about any club efforts on these topics.
Although the club is scheduled to meet every other Friday, from 2-3 p.m., the plan is to facilitate the club using Google Classroom. Meetings will be held when the student officers feel it is needed. Members will be informed of meetings through an app called Remind.
More information will be released to members through Google Classroom, so students should join Health Policy & Issues on Classroom and Remind.
The class code for Google Classroom is 74p2pxp. To join the club through Remind, students should text @np3hpi to 81010. Students can also download the Remind app to join.
For more information, contact Daisy Vallesfino, Club Advisor ([email protected]), Nayab Mehmood, President ([email protected]), and Shreeya Anil, Vice President ([email protected]).
This link will be used for meetings.
