The 6 month marker for distance learning has passed and student’s are currently still at home. The Pacific Times asked Np3 High Students:

“What has been your opinion on distance learning in the past 6 months?”

Gabe Osmena, Sophomore

“It’s really bad for me, since I procrastinate a lot when I do work at home which is kind of silly since we are supposed to do homework at home. But my grades went from all A’s (last year) to mostly C’s and B’s(this year). But we’re all struggling from this so it’s whatever.”

Krisha Sharma, Freshman

“My opinion on this so far is that distance learning has been challenging, different, and a great learning opportunity. At the beginning it was hard but as time went by it became easier to adapt to the new learning ways. Throughout the past six months I have gotten better at managing my time and following schedules. I think managing time has been a key part of distance learning because assignments can easily pile up. It is important to understand when assignments are due and when you are gonna complete them.”

Tejas Gidda, Sophomore

“Distance learning is ok so far, but it’s hard not to get distracted.”

Adidev Rooprai, Sophomore

“I think distance learning has its ups and downs. At first I liked it because it was easier and we had less time. But after awhile it got boring and repetitive and at this point most people would be bored and want to go back to school.”

Ronin Henderson, Sophomore

“To many assignments. But other than that I feel like the teachers have done a good job. Overall it’s been maybe so. 6 or 7/10.”
