As 2022 comes to a close, The Pacific Times asked NP3 High Students:

“What are you thankful for this year?”

Lilon Ramirez, Junior

“I guess I am thankful for the life I was born into and all the opportunities I could have because of my parents’ struggles. I know there are people who don’t have certain things like food and clothes, so I am thankful for the support my parents gave me and their unconditional love.”

Braeden An, Senior

“Something I am thankful for on thanksgiving is being able to hang out with my friends and not deal with school, clubs, and college because recently I have been super stressed with work and college apps, so a break and hanging out with friends was very much needed.”

Hillary Huynh, Freshman

“I’m thankful for my family, the opportunities I get, and the freedom that I have on a daily basis. I’m also thankful to have nice and considerate people around me and to be a part of a great community that I interact with on a daily basis. I’m also thankful for my friends who have my back and are ready to be there whenever I need them. ”

Arjun Balasa, Sophomore

“I am thankful for the video game Among Us.”

David Vu, Junior

“I am thankful for my friends, family, and the community. I am thankful for how I began my journey in coming to America and becoming who I am today. It’s a big improvement because when I came here, I had, like nothing, no knowledge or anything, but I learned a lot of things.”
