NP3 High will host the annual prom on April 28 at Creekside Landing, an event space at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento.
Ticket sales for the event are already underway and will continue on Feb. 8 from Jennifer Bell in the main office from 1:45-2:30 p.m. for $85 each.
Ticket prices are set to increase as the event grows closer. April 12 will be the last day to buy tickets for $100 each.
Cash payment is required to buy tickets.
Guest passes for students who do not attend NP3 High must be turned into Jen Hembree by April 14.
This year prom is being planned by a committee of juniors, seniors and a sophomore during tutorials. In past years, Student Government members have planned this event.
The Prom Committee has been tasked with selecting a theme, linen colors, favors, and invitations as well as coordinating, advertising, final song request lists and Prom Royalty. The committee will also help with ticket sales and selecting the menu.
The venue was selected last year. Reservations for venues are generally required a year in advance.
Currently the committee is polling students on the prom theme. Options include “Starry Night,” “Roaring 20s,” “Masquerade Ball” and “At Last I Can See the Light.”
“We will have a theme hopefully by Thursday (Feb. 2),” said Prom Committee member Tatiana Segura. “Once we have a theme we will begin to create a plan for decorations.”
