NP3 High School is hosting after school school sports sessions almost every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:40 p.m to 5 p.m.
“Intramural sports is a great way for students to connect after school and make friends. Most kids like to relax and this program allows them to do that,” said Jonathan Brinkman.
According to Jonathan Brinkman, students will be playing a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, football and soccer. During these after school sessions, students will participate in a variety of sports drills and activities to teach students the fundamentals of each sport.
NP3 Senior Charles Dankoff said, “It’s nice that we have a chance to play sports at a school because we don’t really have school teams.”
So far, students have had the opportunity to play basketball and volleyball after school.
When asked about his thoughts on this program, Senior Matthew Ly shared, “I love playing volleyball and haven’t been able to do so lately. I’m glad to compete against other students and have fun.”
