New student government leaders were elected on May 7.
The new officers take office in August and will lead NP3 student government and activities during the 2021-2022 school year.
“I am excited to be the president because it is the perfect way to contribute my ideas and skills to NP3 and make 2021-2022 a fun and memorable year,” said Rachel Long, who was elected president.
Melodi Xiong was elected vice president.
“I’d like to use this chance to make sure students’ voices are heard and I’d be lucky to represent them,” said Xiong.
Christopher Loupeda was elected secretary.
“This next year I’m planning to not only bring my organization to student government, but to raise the spirit and pride people have for the school, and provide more opportunities for pirate points,” said Loupeda.
Tatiana Segura was elected treasurer.
“This year if we return back to campus I look forward to planning events for our students to enjoy and come together in this new normal,” said Segura.
Fernando Serratos was elected as the student board member.
“I want to bring a sense where students are proud to call themselves pirates and are proud of staying here,” said Serratos.
