This year’s winner for the 2026 senior sweatshirt design is Hillary Huynh.
The deadline to turn in a senior sweatshirt design was Sept. 5. Seniors voted for them on Sept. 18 to 19, and the design with the highest amount of votes won.
Huynh said she was inspired by Pinterest and posters during both rallies and chants.
“I wanted to help make the senior sweatshirt because I heard that not a lot of people had submitted an idea,” said Huynh, a senior.
On the back of the hoodie, she organized names based on advisory so that they are easier to find. For the front, she opted for a design with pirate elements with ‘Senior Crew’ on the left of the sweatshirt. She wanted to make her design original compared to previous years.
“I love doing graphic design, and I run the Instagram account for my club. I like designing things and making things visually appealing, cohesive, and meaningful,” said Huynh. “I wanted to make something that people would wear outside of school and I wanted it to be memorable, subtle, and have a connection and emphasis with NP3’s pirates.”
Laura Sieglitz is in charge of managing the senior sweatshirt design.
“I love senior sweatshirts because it gives students an opportunity for seniors to really enjoy and own their senior year. Every experience in senior year matters, because it’s a time you can never get back,” said Sieglitz. “I like this year’s sweatshirt specifically because it is unique and reaches out to multiple personalities, and different kinds of people who would enjoy wearing this sweatshirt.”
