With the 2019-2020 school year at its beginning, The Pacific Times asked NP3 High students:

What are your hopes for the 2019-2020 school year?

Zara Afridi, NP3 Senior

My hopes are to enjoy my last year here being with my friends and teachers, but most importantly, be happy, healthy, stress-free and successful.”

Iman Rashid, NP3 Freshman

“I want to get my grades up and join clubs as well as getting to know the teachers.”

Erik Guerrero, NP3 Senior

“My hope for the 2019-2020 school year is to graduate. After graduation I would love to get started on my business if possible and just start making moves to obtain the bag. I really want to get into a good business school to learn lots of strategies to make my business grow and become successful. Most importantly, I want to set an example for my brother to be better than me and to achieve higher than I have.”

Natalia Villalpando, NP3 Sophomore

“More great memories, pass my classes and survive my sophomore year.”

Josephine Chang, NP3 Senior

“As a senior, I really hope that my last year goes by fast. I feel both ready and unready to advance into the world as a true member of society. Even though I am apprehensive of the adult world, I feel like NP3 has helped shape me into a more grown person. So it all comes down to the fact that I hope I can go through senior year as fast as I can, while keeping my classes above a C. I don’t have much else to hope for at NP3. Is it because I’ve become easy to satisfy or that my expectations have lowered? I don’t know.”

Maria Venegas, NP3 Freshman

“I want to pass all my classes and participate in at least one club.”

Jieleen Lomo, NP3 Senior

For my last year I hope to be able to make memories with my friends that I’ll cherish forever. I wouldn’t want to hate my last year of high school, so I’ll try to make the most of it.”
