A small group of NP3 high school students met in an empty classroom after school on Wednesday, Feb. 27 for a one-hour self-defense class by a martial arts instructor.
The demonstration was a part of senior Lily Trouchon’s service learning project targeting human trafficking. One of her project goals was to bring a trained expert to instruct students on how to defend themselves.
