NP3 High School students donated more than 5,000 food items for the KCRA3 Kids Can Food Drive.
The junior class led the food can drive by collecting more than 4,000 donations, followed by the senior, sophomore and freshmen classes.
Cherise Orozco’s advisory collected the most with 4,267 food items donated and will have a donut party.
The food drive was a partnership between NP3’s Student Government and Key Club and was held Oct. 25 through Nov. 19. Student Government set up and advertised the event and Key Club volunteers transported and counted the donated of food items.
