Looking for ways to get involved in the NP3 High community and beef up your college applications?

Then check out the 2023-24 new and returning clubs being showcased this week at Back-to-School Night and during Club Rush.

Club coordinator Daisy Vallesfino said club applications were handled by members of the National Honor Society rather than student government this year. Students starting a new club needed to find an advisor and submit an application by the deadline.

Club applications for the 2023-24 school year closed on August 14.

“Club leaders and members are expected to be exemplary members of the NP3 community, dedicated to personal and civic responsibility,” said Vallesfino. “They must maintain active member participation and have a designated faculty advisor.”

Approved clubs must be unique in their purpose and daily operations. Vallesfino said any clubs with overlapping goals were “encouraged to combine.”

The following clubs were approved on August 18:

  • American Sign Language Club (ASL)
  • Animal and Environmental Club
  • Art Club
