The NP3 Mock Trial team will host its first fundraisers with Handel’s ice creamery.

The fundraiser is meant to support the top Mock Trial team’s travel to scrimmages, meals during competitions as well as additional expenses for the team.

The team has two fundraisers set up with Handel’s ice creamery.

A Pay-and-Scoop fundraiser is set for Back-to-School Night 5-7:30 p.m. on August 29.

The team is also preparing for a “Spirit Night” at the Natomas Handel’s location after Labor Day. NP3 Mock Trial team flyers will need to be shown when checking out at Handel’s for a portion of sales proceeds to support the team.

“Our Mock Trial team is excited to collaborate with a local business for our first fundraiser! We hope that Handel’s ice cream will entice families to attend Back to School Night, while supporting our season this year at the same time,” said Mock Trial advisor Sasha Guzman speaks about the Pay-and-Scoop fundraiser. “Plus, what better way to beat this Sacramento heat than with some ice cream?”
