The annual Halloween door decorating competition between advisories will be held Oct. 27 during advisory.
Each year advisory classes decorate their classroom door in a Halloween theme. Following the judging of the decorations, NP3 Elementary students trick-or-treating at high school classrooms on the same day.
Doors will be judged by decorations on the same day. Each advisory’s door is judged individually for its score, then the grade level with the highest amount of points scored will win pirate points. Additionally, judges will crown one door with the best overall design and be rewarded a prize.
Doors are judged on a scale of one to four points in five different categories: creativity, door completion, grade level participation, advisory engagement, and overall effort.
