The 2024 Prom, titled “At Last I See the Light,” is set to take place on Friday, April 26 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. As the date approaches, The Pacific Times asked juniors and seniors:

“What are your plans for prom?”

Abigail Lewis, Senior

“I’m gonna hang out with my friends and actually dance this time because last time I did not dance, or I didn’t do anything, it was sad. And I’m gonna enjoy myself. I’m gonna go take pictures with people, because last time I didn’t really take pictures, I had two pictures of myself and it was one with Jessica and one of just me, it was so weird, like that was it? And probably jump into the lake.”

Janice Hu, Junior

“I am going to go to the Rose Garden with some friends to take photos and then we’re gonna head over to the venue in a big car. And then we’re gonna eat, we’re gonna drink, we’re gonna be happy. No alcohol though. Non-alcoholic drinks, FYI.”

Aarthi Vijayarajah, Senior

“I’m gonna go home, get ready, take photos, go to prom, then dip.”

Matthew Ly, Senior

“I might get the suit the day of prom. During prom, I’m gonna hang out with my friends, that’ll be a vibe. And then after, I might go to my cousin’s house and party there again.”

Emilio Lazcano, Senior

“I’m gonna go to prom, then I’m gonna leave. That’s what I’m gonna do.”

Vivian Mai, Senior

“I’m gonna go to prom, then I’m gonna pass out right when I get home.”

Aahil Iqbal, Junior

“Stay home. I’m going next year, and I’m kidnapping all my friends.”

Wishmah Faisal, Junior

“I’m not going to prom. I’m going to play Roblox.”
