NP3 Community Encouraged to Take LCAP Survey

NP3 High is currently running a survey that they would like staff, parents, students and community members to complete.

Students should have already taken the survey in advisory and emails went home to parents with a link to the survey.

The purpose of the survey is to get feedback about the school’s programs and features, so school leaders can better decide how to spend money at the school.

The survey is used for the local control and accountability plan also known as LCAP done every three years by schools to decide how the school will allocate their money to certain programs.

This survey asks participants about programs such as their focus on civic education and leadership, small class sizes and provided transportation for students. After all of the questions there is an opportunity for survey takers to provide additional comments.

The school will host a meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 in the NP3 High library about the LCAP. Parents and families are encouraged to attend and share what they feel makes the school great and what can be done in the future to make it better. Snacks will be provided at the event and child-care will be available at the meeting.

All feedback shared at the meeting and from the survey will be used to create the LCAP plan.
