Spring Sing-A-Long Event Planned for March 4

NP3 High will host a re-run of the popular Fall-La-La-La sing-along event on March 4 from 5-8 p.m.

Dubbed the “Spring Sing-A-Long” the event will be held in the amphitheater.

Just like the Fall-La-La-La event in November students will be able to perform, but the event is scheduled to be an hour longer.

Students will be able to sign up for performance spots via a Google Form provided in the daily school announcements. The form will be available until March 3. There are 26 open spots and a three-minute limit on the length of performances.

A maximum of four people can be on-stage performing at once. The remaining time during the event will be dedicated to open-mic performances.

Up to 10 school clubs will be at the event providing food and drinks. The student government plans to sell pink lemonade for $1.

Presale for the event will be held during lunch, starting Feb. 28 until the day of the event on March 4. Tickets will cost $5; no at-the-door sales will be held for the event. (Students who are volunteering for clubs or student government during the event qualify for a $2 discount.)

To attend the Spring Sing-A-Long, students must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination during presale. Unvaccinated students will need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the event. Proof can be emailed to the NP3 High principal Melissa Mori at [email protected].

Student government representatives said they felt Fall-La-La-La was a success.

“I think it was good how everybody could go up and perform,” said sophomore Ryan DeCaso about the fall event.

The Spring Sing-A-Long, he added, “It’s all-inclusive and just a way for people to have fun.”

During Fall-La-La-La freshman Tanushka Sehgal said he enjoyed spending time with friends and listening to performances. Sehgal encouraged NP3 students to attend the upcoming Spring Sing-A-Long and experience “what the school has to offer.”
