On April 27 students at NP3 High voted for their next student body officers through a Google Form which was distributed during the advisory period.
The announcement of the student government officers was made at the end of the school day.
The next president of NP3 High’s student government is Jake Cronin. Cronin is currently NP3 High’s sound manager, a position he has held for the past two years.
“I would like to bring more attention to student-led clubs, and try my best to organize Student Government funded, cultural events like Bhangra bash and Bailes,” said Cronin.
Bani Singh will be NP3 High’s student government vice president. Singh is currently a delegate in student government and became vice president following an uncontested election.
NP3 High’s next student government treasurer is Janice Hu. Hu is currently a delegate in student government.
Estefani Esther Galvez was elected the next secretary of NP3 High’s student government. Esther Galvez was previously a delegate in student government in the fall 2022.
“My top priority as secretary next year is to bring back and to organize events that students have loved in the past and new events that will interest students as well,” said Esther Galvez.
The next student NP3 school board representative at NP3 High is Melanie Knight Wilkins. Knight Wilkins is the current secretary of NP3 High’s student government. In the spring of 2023, Bella Titone was appointed to the student NP3 school board representative position following a vacancy.
The communication officer and sound manager positions were not up for election, they are positions which students are appointed to based off of interest.
The communication officers for NP3 High’s student government for the 2023-24 school year will be Isabella Bravo and Hillary Huynh.
The sound managers for the 2023-24 school year at NP3 High will be Giovanni Segura and Ishan Pathak.
