NP3 High Teams Report Successful Season

The competition season for NP3 High’s Mock Trial, Moot Court, Robotics and Dance team is coming to an end. 

The Moot Court Team participated in three out of five competitions referred to as “rounds” for the county’s competitive season, ranking eighth place among other high schools with a score of 190.7.

The results of the Mock Trial team will be released at the end of their competition later this month, according to Staci Osborn, who coaches both Moot Court and Mock Trial teams.

The Robotics team has competed in five competitions and one league competition so far this school year. The team is split into four groups that compete against each other and other high schools’ teams.

This is the first year, one of NP3 High’s teams has won the excellence award at the Woodland High School competition. Their final competition for the school year will be for the state held at Florin High School on March 8.

At their last regional competition, NP3 High’s dance team won first place in four out the five categories: all-male dance, large military, small hip hop, and dance/drill and placed second place in novelty.

The dance team is currently preparing for a competition at Anaheim Convention Center from March 19 -23.
