NP3 High’s Valorant team will return to the High School Esports League’s playoffs for the second season in a row following a qualifying victory on March 31 against Cleveland High School.

The Valorant team placed 12th in the Western United States region of the Spring Major. Teams from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming competed in the Western United States region.

The Valorant season consisted of eight regular season games which began on Feb. 8 and ended on March 31. (A March 22 game against a LCI Samurai team was covered nationally on High School Esports League’s Twitch channel.)

The Valorant team ended the regular season 6-2.

A three-game, first-round playoff matchup is scheduled to take place on April 10 at 5 p.m. against Chatsworth High School from Los Angeles, California.

NP3 High did not have a chess team compete in the Spring Major.

On April 10, NP3 High’s Valorant team defeated Chatsworth High School two games to none. The team will play in a second-round playoff matchup on April 12 at 5 p.m. against Heritage High School from Brentwood, California.
