Tracie Dotson is an assistant principal working his first year here at NP3 High School.
Dotson stated that something he likes about his role as an assistant principal is “getting to work with a team of like-minded individuals in an effort to catapult the world’s next generation of leadership.”
Dotson attended California State University, Sacramento, attaining a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in School Counseling. As of right now, he’s working on earning his school administrative credentials from the Sacramento County Office of Education.
As for his personal life, he was born in Okinawa, Japan but grew up in Elk Grove. He is one of two children, having one sister. Dotson is married to Linsey Dotson, a counselor working at NP3 Middle School. Together they share two children.
His favorite hobby is coaching. Historically he coached track and field, basketball, football, and field hockey. He has coached nothing at NP3.
A challenge Dotson is facing right now is staying in shape as he ages. A way he is handling it is by going on walks or riding his stationary bike daily.
Some facts about Dotson are that his secret talent is to help students and or families find their purpose and he has a fear of spiders.
